Change the numbers and watch the results update — a quick way to check your workings in physics and chemistry.

Ohm's law (V = IR)

Current I = V ÷ R = 3.000 A · Power P = VI = 36.00 W

Projectile motion

Time of flight 2.89 s · Range 40.8 m · Max height 10.2 m (g = 9.8 m/s²)

Molar mass and moles

Molar mass = 98.07 g/mol · 49 g = 0.4996 mol

Try Ca(OH)2, NaCl, C6H12O6.

Digital practical bench

Do the experiment, record, calculate

Practice simulations modelled on WAEC/NECO practical tasks. They train method and calculation; they do not replace handling real apparatus.

Physics: simple pendulum (find g)

Set L, start the stopwatch, stop after 20 oscillations, then record. Repeat for at least 5 lengths.

0.00 s

Oscillations counted: 0

L (m)t for 20 osc (s)T (s)T² (s²)

Precautions: small angle, swing in one plane, count from the rest line, avoid parallax. Your hand timing adds real error, just like in the lab.

Chemistry: acid–base titration

Burette: 0.100 mol/dm³ HCl. Flask: 25.0 cm³ NaOH with phenolphthalein: the pink colour fades as acid is added. Stop at the first permanent colour change.

Initial reading: 0.50 cm³ · Current reading: 0.50 cm³

#f5f5f5

Read the bottom of the meniscus at eye level to 2 decimal places; take concordant titres within 0.10 cm³. The end point changes every session.

    Biology: food tests

Pick a sample, add each reagent, and record the observation and inference.

    Chemistry: identify the cation

Run the tests on unknown salt X, then name the cation. Use 'New unknown' for another salt.

      Physics: verify Ohm's law

Increase the number of cells, read the voltmeter and ammeter, record, then check V/I stays constant.

      1 cell(s)

      V = 1.46 V

      I = 0.27 A

      V (V)I (A)V/I (Ω)

Precaution: open the key between readings so the cells don't run down and the wire doesn't heat up.

Physics: focal length of a converging lens

Move the object, then record where the sharp image forms on the screen. Plot 1/v against 1/u.

Sharp, real, inverted image at v = 30.0 cm

      uv1/u1/v

      Physics: principle of moments

An unknown mass hangs 20 cm left of the pivot. Slide the 50 g mass on the right until the metre rule balances.

      Not balanced yet.

      Biology: osmosis in potato strips

Soak 5 cm potato strips for 30 minutes in sucrose solutions of different strength and measure the change in length.

Change in length: +0.60 cm — strip is firm (water entered).

Values are a teaching model; real potatoes vary. Find where the change is zero to estimate the cell sap concentration.
